I’m a single mama, and somewhere between school pickups and late nights, I fell completely in love with turquoise and Southwestern jewelry. Not just the expensive, museum-quality pieces — all of it. The chunky vintage finds, the delicate handmade earrings, the bold Navajo cuffs, the affordable little treasures that make you feel like you’re carrying a piece of the desert with you.

That love turned into The Turquoise Cattle.

What This Shop Is

I’m a curator, not a manufacturer. I hunt for pieces I genuinely love — from skilled Native American artisans like Esther White, Amos Begay, and Joan Begay, whose Navajo silversmithing is the real deal, to more accessible finds that let anyone wear a little piece of the Southwest. Whether a piece costs $20 or $200, if it’s beautiful and honest, it belongs here.

I believe turquoise and Native American jewelry shouldn’t be gatekept. It should be worn, loved, and passed down.

For pieces represented as Native American-made, I take that seriously. All such jewelry in this shop is created by enrolled members of federally recognized tribes, in compliance with the Indian Arts and Crafts Act.
